ABOUT US....
Chuck and I have always been involved in dogs, but in 1991 we fell in love with the Old English Mastiff. That was the start of WINDFALL MASTIFFS and since then we have learned a lot. We feel bettering the breed is not just producing dogs, but producing sound dogs of type.
We are currently members of the Mastiff Club of America (MCOA) and Medina Kennel Club. I am also an active member on
the Health Committee and the Health Awards Committee for the MCOA.
We are very active with our dogs. We show in conformation, dabble in obedience, visit nursing homes
and try to teach children by going to schools to help them understand what owning a dog means. Our
dogs are our life.
We CERTIFY our dogs clear of hip and elbow dysplasia, check for normal hearts and patella's, CERF test
& PRA DNA their eyes, test them clear of VWD and Cystinuria, as well as making sure there are no thyroid
problems before we even consider breeding them. Problems do occur in every breed of dog
and by
testing/certifying them, we can only try to eliminate the problems and not create more.
Before we place our pups, we have them tested for VWD, Cystinuria, and CERF'd
as well as they are microchipped for identification. We try to desensitize our pups during the imprint stages of their lives to help create a well balanced dog. We stand behind our puppies and are always available to hear the good as well as the bad. We don't place a pup and forget about them. We like to know how they are doing - forever!!
